All Year Sacramento, Incorporated is a participating contractor for the CHF Residential Retrofit Program in Sacramento.
What is the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program?
The California Rural Home Mortgage Finance Authority (CRHMFA), or CHF for short, has launched the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program which is here to help homeowners make energy efficiency upgrades to their homes.
The CHF has worked with Five Star Bank, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), and the California Energy Commission (CEC), to create the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit program, which is making $20 million in private financing, to assist homeowners in improving their homes to make it more energy efficient, to reduce energy costs, to control the impact of traditional energy sources to the environment, and to create jobs as well. The CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program has rooted itself from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
What are the available upgrades under the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program?
There are two available upgrade packages under the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program: the basic and the advanced upgrade paths.
The Basic upgrade path is designed to improve the energy efficiency of the average home of approximately 10%. The basic upgrade package of the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program will address issues in air sealing, insulation, duct sealing, and heating and cooling equipment.
The Advanced upgrade path takes your home improvements to another level. Since the basic path deals with basic issues, the advance path will deal with the specific needs of your home. The contractor, All Year Sacramento in this case, will provide a whole-house energy efficiency assessment in line with the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rating. All Year Sacramento’s technicians will then deal with your home’s specific needs.
